Jordan…Petra and all my favorite places!!!
Hey!! Happy Monday!
I’m a little behind schedule as I have been traveling all over Jordan and then a few days at home and off to the next!
I want to highlight a few of my favorite things I did out in Jordan and if you have it on your list.. Get the permanent marker out and cross it off.
First off, I had a bunch of people tell me it’s not the safest place… I PERSONALLY was fine and felt safe. I hired a driver because I can’t be my crazy driver self all over Jordan and find my way around!
He was the best and knew every single spot that I wanted to hit up!
I first spent a day in Amman and saw all the tourist, killer culture locations! We first ventured off to Amman citadel and it was AMAZING! It was empty as we went early AM and saw it with a pretty sunrise! we then ran to the Roam theatre as it is just down a little bit and that was SO PRETTY!
I loved seeing those locations and going early with no one around!
Things to see in AMMAN:
– Amman Citadel AKA: Temple of Hercules
– Roman Theatre
HOTEL: W Amman
Our next route was off to Petra! Petra was a 2/3 hour drive and worth it! You can see everything around it and drive into the little crazy village! What wee first laid eyes on was a cute neighborhood and a TINY kid was riding this baby camel and they wer4e Hauling through the village! It was the funniest thing! He is living the best life!
We stayed in the coolest place called Petra Bubble Luxotel.. find their insta HERE and it was THE BEST VIEW!! I couldn’t sleep and was wide awake all night and I stared at shooting stars and the moon all night long! I was one happy girl! So I definitely prefer that place!
We woke up early that morning and ran off to PETRA! OMG, this history and buildings are amazing…
Here are some pics below:
Okay, yes… Go ahead and wipe the drool off… I also had to do that. My favorite place!
NEXT STOP-WADI RUM. That is about another 2 hours away down in the desert! Ever seen red sand? OKay well, you will LOVE it, it’s warm.. so pretty and so many things to do!
We checked in and straight away went to ride camels.. (yep, I finally rode one) if you know me, you know I’m an animal PHYSCO (ALL CAPS) and I love animals! I even feel bad for the camels living their because maybe they are too hot hahah! So I decided to grow up and just try it!
THE CAMELS are so so tall and the ride was so fun! I think I just petted it and played with the one behind me the entire time! We were sweating and enjoying the views!
Next up we went Jeeping in the desert, rode around crazy and made some crazy moves! SO SO fun!
I would love to go back and enjoy more time there! If you have the chance, go VISIT JORDAN!
Let me know if you have plans to go!
